Your Statutory Credit Report shows a basic view of your credit history. It contains information Experian holds about you, which lenders use when they assess you for credit.

Please note the report doesn’t include your Experian Credit Score, or any other benefits you get with an Experian account. Scroll down to see which option suits you best.

How we protect your data

Your Statutory Credit Report details your credit history. It contains public and private information recorded in your name and is available to authorised lenders carrying out a credit check through Experian. Credit reports are used by lenders to help them in making decisions about whether to give you credit or not.

Experian can only provide a copy of your own credit report. Other people (including your partner, spouse or anyone else you may have applied for credit with) must each apply for their own report.

Your application is made under Article 15, General Data Protection Regulation, 2018 and we will keep a record of your application.

Because we operate throughout the world in providing our goods and services, this may involve us transferring your personal information to countries whose data protection laws do not provide the same level of protection as those in the UK. If we do so, we will ensure that an agreement is in place in which anyone to whom we pass the information agrees to treat it with the same level of protection as if we were dealing with it.
